This exciting project is located at the historic Port of San Francisco at Pier 5. The space included three levels, including an expanded mezzanine, and connected by a new 3-story stair. Extensive design efforts ensured optimized acoustics as well cutting edge AV systems. Being situated above and adjacent to an active and popular restaurant, careful planning and consideration was needed in order to relocate the restaurants exhaust system through the new space with minimal disruption to the restaurant’s service. While highlighting the large timber frame interior, the building maintained stunning views of the bay and waterfront at almost every angle.
